I’m a big fan of what some call compact living, and even though I have more square feet available than I will ever use, I think there is a certain beauty in furniture that provides multiple uses and requires little space. Every time I log in I end up spending a bunch of time just surfing around. Today I stumbled across 1.by.liz and these wall clocks are the first thing to make my new year’s wish list. I’m a big fan of anything having to do with gears or sprockets. Some of my favorite photo subjects on Old Sutter Creek have to do with machinery left over from the gold rush days here in California. To me it is beautiful and art in itself. The clocks made by 1.by.liz are created from recycled bicycle parts and what could be cooler than that except the clocks themselves.
